Overview
klew ("we," "our," or "us") operates the klew.app website and the Klew iOS application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Apple, the name you choose to share. We use this to authenticate you and associate your data with your account.
Puzzle data. If you are a constructor, we store the puzzles you create, including grid content, clues, and metadata. If you are a solver, we store your solve progress, completion times, and ratings.
Usage data. We collect anonymous usage data such as page views, puzzle solve counts, and feature usage to improve the product. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
Device information. The iOS app may collect basic device information (device type, OS version) for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
How We Use Your Information

- To calculate and display puzzle statistics and ratings
- To communicate service updates (we will never send marketing emails without consent)
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage. See Supabase Privacy Policy.

Your Rights
You have the right to:
