v1.4 Is Live
Klew for iOS v1.4 is on the App Store. v1.3 made solving social, with leaderboards and a crown for the fastest time. v1.4 is about the everyday edges: getting in without friction, having something to earn as you solve, and a finish screen that celebrates your result without shouting.
Sign In Without a Password
No more passwords. Enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code. Type it in and you are in, with your account created automatically if it is your first time.
It is the kind of thing you only notice once it is gone: no password to remember, no reset link to chase, no extra step between you and today's puzzle. Prefer Apple? Sign in with Apple still works too.
Achievements
There are achievements now. Solve your first puzzle, post a clean solve, finish a mini under a minute, and you will see it land with a quiet celebration, then it is yours to keep.
They are a reason to try a size you have been avoiding, or to go for the clean grid instead of reaching for a check. Small goals that add up.
A Calmer Finish
The finish screen got a redesign around one idea: this is your moment, not a billboard. Your time leads, your points and rating sit just below in a clean line, and an achievement shows up when you earned one. The full leaderboard is one tap away instead of stacked on top.
Rate-and-review is back too, right where it belongs. Five stars and a quick word on the puzzle you just finished, without leaving the screen.
Share Any Solve
Sharing got cleaner and works in more places. Your result is now a tidy, typographic card with your time and a link, and it unfurls into a rich preview wherever you send it. Share straight from the finish screen, or later from any puzzle you have already completed.
Send it to a friend and the link opens the exact puzzle, so beating your time is one tap away for them.
Never Miss a Day
Turn on a daily reminder and Klew will nudge you when a fresh puzzle is waiting. Pick the time that fits your routine, or leave it off. Your streak, your call.
Also in This Release
A few more things worth naming:
- The leaderboard opens to the Global board, so it is never empty while you are getting started.
- A new "How points & rating work" explainer in your Profile stats, for when you want to know exactly how the numbers move.
- A smoother solve. The full-grid nudge now shows once when your grid is filled but not quite right, instead of on every keystroke.
